Changes to my study programme

Imagen
Hi, I study architecture at Universidad de Chile. Since I got in, I´ve been thinking about some changes I would make to ther study programme. First of, I would delete the subject of phs (principles of habitability and sustainability) because the subject isn´t just boring, the workload is too much just for three credits. Another thing I would like to change is in the subject of urban sustainability, the subject only has two evaluations, which makes it more likely to fail the subject. About the workload, architecture is a career with a lot of workload, it´s very common arriving the university early in the morning and leaving at night besides of going on weekends. I´m not happy about this, because the career has a lenght of 5 years and a half. I hope the workload goes down a little bit, but I dont think so. I guess with the time I´m going to adapt myself to the workload, idk. The faculty has a notable lack of infrastructure, before of being a faculty it has a lot of uses so the ...

Time travel to the past or future

Imagen
I would go to the past, there are so many memories that I woul love to live again. I think going to the future isn´t necessary, you don´t know what you are going to find and if you like the future or not. I would love travel to the past, between 2015-2017 when I was 11-13 years old. In those times, I used to go out and play with my friends. We played play station and after we used to go to a court near to our houses to play soccer. In 2015 and 2016 Chile won 2 coups of America playing really good. I remember myself waiting everyweek for Chile to play and win. I also would like to travel to when I was in the school but without the pandemic and see how that time would have be The summer of those times was the best summers I had. Playing football everyday and listening the trap and reggaeton of those years and I still listen to it. Even though there were good times, I wouldn´t travel to the past or stay there because the best moments were the simplest and most spontaneous and if I go to r...

My dream job

Imagen
First of, I'm studying architecture, so my dream job is to be an architect.  Anyway, I would like to job as a teacher of architecture because I think the university has more creative things to do than working in an office. First of, I´m studying architecture so my dream is to be an architect. To be an architect you need some skills like creativity, being good at math, calculate structures and technical skills drawing your ideas to show them to a client. I think working in an office is kinda boring, I would like to work in the construction site, supervising that everything is going well. A lot of architects design beautiful buildings but these never got built. I want to be an architect and see my designs built and the people who is going to live there happy. About the salary, I've heard architects do not earn enough money as the work they have to do but I don´t mind (yet). I think working in what I like worths it. I also would like as an architecture teacher at university. This ...

The best concert ever

Imagen
It was September 2019 and Pablo Chill-e was announced to "Maipeluza" (a festival due to national holidays located in Maipú). I was 15 years old and with my friends we all wanted to go see Pablo, but at that moment he wasn´t that famous as he is now. His most popular songs was Singapur with Yung beef, Vibras, Shishigang with Kevin Martes13, etc. The concert was at 15:00 and we arrive at 14:45 so we couldn,t be at first line, the concert was lit, we didn´t notice and we were getting closer to the stage. Everybody was jumping and singing the songs and when no one expected, Polimá Westcoast came from the back of the stage and started singing My blood, the best song of the genre. Everybody went crazy, I remember being crushed by the crowd but I didn´t mind, that concert was amazing. When the concert ended, the mayoress came up to congratulate Pablo and his staff but she mispronounces his name and he got upset.

A country you would like to visit

I would like to visit Nepal. Honestly, I didn´t feel like thinking in a country, so I chose it kinda randomly. I found Nepal in the map and saw photos, then I realized that I would really like to visit it no I started looking information. Nepal is a small country located in south Asia, in the Himalayas and borders China and India. Its geography is mountainous and has very high mountains, like Everest. Nepal is small country, but it has great cultural diversity. Most of the population practice Hindu religion and Buddhism.  Lumbini is the city where Buddhism is concentrated, since Siddharta Gautama was born in this place. In Nepal the best things to do are visit the Everest and Swayambhuntah . I feel more interested in Swayambhuntah, because it is the monkey temple. Swayambhuntah is at the top of  a hill in Katmandu. The temple is the most important buddhists.  I think I would not live here. The language is too complicated to learn and I will miss my fa...
